Support our ‘Make Tracks for Louth’ campaign and help us restore the original railway to Louth. A lot of hard work and enthusiasm has secured the future of the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway to date, but to extend the passenger line back to Louth and make the connection to North Thoresby once again would be fabulous for both visitors and the local community.

It costs nearly £280,000 to lay a mile of track so you can see the scale of the challenge. We need to raise funds to purchase materials such as ballast, rails and sleepers before we can progress. Any donation, no matter how large or small, will be gratefully received.

Give the gift of time!

Volunteering at the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway can be a very rewarding experience. If you think you could give us the gift of your time, LWR are always looking for more volunteers to help with general maintenance, the general running of the railway and the line extension.
